84" Waxwood Staff Review

(More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised. I took my lead from another reviewer and ordered two. Both were OK but one was clearly thicker and straighter than the other. The wood was still fresh enough to straighten (wax wood eh...) Also, the wood seems to have been collected correctly so there is no splitting at the branch nodes. All in all, I plan to order more.
Even though the thickness is as advertised and the straightness is acceptable, I had hoped that one of the two I ordered might be the equal of a pole I bought a long time ago from Brendan Lai. No such luck, hence four stars. Maybe next time.
FYI, 200 grit paper gives the poles a smooth sliding surface after a couple of dozen passes.

(More customer reviews)Solidly built, even specifications (i.e. uniform thickness), smooth with basically no chance you'd get splinters even if you regularly use your bare hands on the surface. I use the pole exclusively for stretching, and I find the full 6 feet necessary to to over-the-shoulder exercises holding the pole perpendicular to my height (i.e. not up-and-down but across.) Weight of pole gives it a "solid" feel.

Mighty Grip Pole Dance Glove with Tack Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered 1 of each type of glove because I didn't know what would work best. The "tacky" one is not good for me (the palm is basically "pleather/vinyl" type skin), so I used the non-tack glove. The first thing that bugged me was that there was a seam that went across the palm. Why on earth there is a seam on the palm of a glove where the palm is extensively used, I have no idea. However, it didn't bug me too much and I got used to it.
I have used the non-tack gloves TWICE and they are already falling apart. The seam on the palm is coming undone and the seam around the thumb and on the wrist is undone as well. Like I said, I have used them TWICE and I won't be able to use them again. I am very disappointed in the quality of the glove.
I don't feel that I can return the gloves because I've already used them although I will be returning the tack one. I thought everyone should know what an inferior product this is and to save your money.

HP5 is a perfect companion for your weekend hiking trips. It has a comfortable cork handle with nylon strap and a small EVA grip for use when the stick is folded. The telescopic stick is made of 3 strong aluminum alloy sections and can be adjusted to a desired height between 55" and 27 1/2". It also has spring-loaded antishock mechanism inside which can be turned on/off with a twist between the two sections. Functional graphic on the stick includes a US/Metric Ruler. At the bottom end of the stick, there is a carbide tip hiden inside the rubber endcap. It is very helpful when walking on rocky hard surface.
