(More customer reviews)Unfortunately, I did not purchase the universal mounting bracket with the backboard. I purchased it to mount on an existing pole and mounting hardware, but apparently the existing hardware was not universal. I'm still hoping to get this to work, but cold weather and frustration has put this project on hiatus. I also expected the composite to be more solid and sturdy, we already cracked it trying to get it to mount to our existing pole.
I must add that I am extremely impressed with the speed in which it was shipped. I received it 3 days early and in time for Christmas!!
