(More customer reviews)If you are buying this, you either know what you want OR someone put this on a gift list. I am the second person. I bought this for my brother-in-law. I did a google search and saw pictures of the piece of goal pole in a display case, etc. I like to order from Amazon and the price was the second lowest, so I placed my order through Amazon although it was sold through a third party.
It arrived in pieces as a "do it yourself project". You got a display box, a bubble wrapped piece of pole, a certificate, etc. This was not what I expected and it was not a "fun" gift to give. Someone didn't lift a display case out with something to look at. I did not want to put it together for the collector in case I did it wrong. For $100 I felt a little snookered.
Maybe people that buy these kind of collectibles all the time would not have been surprised at all and the recipient was very happy with the gift, but as the unknowledgable giver I would have preferred for it to come ready to display.
