(More customer reviews)First it showed up to the house in broken and dirty condition. They had obviously been used, returned and re-sent out. I payed for a new one, Not Used and Broken. The keeper that holds the two sticks together was broken right out of the package. Baring that, it is a great product. I used them this weekend to support a 9 lb. Mosin Nagant rifle. Even in strong winds it kept the rifle steady. They are easy to extend to the appropriate height even with gloves or mittens. The poles did rattle while walking because of the broken pole keeper which was distracting while trying to be quiet on the trail. I suspect Amazon or Stoney Point will contact me in order to fix the problem. Just do not want to pay more money to ship them back to amazon for a new set.

(More customer reviews)Only gave this product 1 star because I can't rate it a ZERO. Legs seem to be solid construction but the cheap rubber that holds the legs together split within 5 minutes of installing it on my gun. I'm sending it back and going to buy a Harris Bi-pod.

And rock solid, at 300 and 400 yards your crosshairs are remarkably still. It has to be the most stable way to shoot in the field. And during your hunt if you don't end up using it you won't even notice that you carried it.
I picked this version over the stoney point shooting sticks II because a professional review that otherwise loved them was critical of their feet. This product has nice carbide tips that prevent them from slipping if you happen to get a leg on rocky terrain. The stoney point sticks have feet that slip.
For the price there is no reason to not get them, great product that will improve your accuracy in the field in a huge way.

A quick setup lightweight bipod that has bungee-corded legs of tent pole style:Sections of the legs are made of lightweight and yet strong aluminum alloy tubing of 3/8inch diameter and extends to assembly instantly when swung open.
