(More customer reviews)This is a slick gadget. I use it with my Leupold Golden Ring 12-40X60 spotting scope and it works very well. I can move it around quickly with ease. I do think that my scope is about the maximum weight that you would want to use on the Trek Pod (note Leupold pictures it with their smallest scope). I also use it with my digital camera. It takes the shake out. I bought the non-Leupold version for my wife to use with her larger cameras. She loves hers too. This is pretty light weight to use as a rugged walking stick but that is obvious to anyone looking at these. Still it is a good light use walking stick and it pops into a nice tripod in a few seconds.

(More customer reviews)Unfortunately, I did not purchase the universal mounting bracket with the backboard. I purchased it to mount on an existing pole and mounting hardware, but apparently the existing hardware was not universal. I'm still hoping to get this to work, but cold weather and frustration has put this project on hiatus. I also expected the composite to be more solid and sturdy, we already cracked it trying to get it to mount to our existing pole.
I must add that I am extremely impressed with the speed in which it was shipped. I received it 3 days early and in time for Christmas!!

Yakima Tube Top Women's or Dual Suspension Bike Rack Frame Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to work with a bike without a top tube that I currently have to mount "upside-down" and use the angled downtube to mount. However this put the bike up very high and blocks rear view. However, this adapater does not work well with very large (ie: long) frames. The problem is in the basic design that this adapter will almost "pull apart" and not stay very solid at full extension. It almost feels like it will snap apart when fully extended and loaded with the bike on the hitch. I can't use it with my bike, but it does work with my kids bikes which are much smaller. For my bike I have tried a friends Saris adapter that works much better for a large bike and I am looking into buying this instead.

Kelty Nobendium II Tent Stakes Review

(More customer reviews)I picked these up as a replacement for the factory stakes included with my Kelty Gunnison 4.1 tent. They are miles ahead of the stock stakes. However, they CAN bend if you hit a rock or are careless.
The better options are from Sierra Designs Hex Peg Stakes. They aren't as easy to bend as this Kelty model. Even better yet are stakes that are y-shaped such as the MSR Groundhogs, Coghlan's Ultra Light, or Sierra Designs Y-Stake.In short, they are way better than the stock stakes but there are still better options out there at comparable prices.

(More customer reviews)The basic concept is good, but the implementation was very weak. First the plastic attaching points were difficult to set and adjust. The nylon straps did not provide a rigid enough structure to support the boat cover. The telescoping poles would calapse from the pressure being placed on them when the cover was pulled tight (necessary to force rain water to run off). Basically, I used the idea to fashion a support system from 1X2's that could be screwed together temporarily.
